Why not improve the level of your English before you apply to study abroad? I am writing to ask if you have ever considered online tutoring in English. I operate a worldwide online tutoring agency. Using a web camera, microphone, and a whiteboard we teach individuals and small groups of students from around the globe and it is very similar to having a tutor come to your house but more convenient. Our rates are very reasonable and we are available to tutor 24 hours a day 7 days a week. ESL lessons are designed to meet the student’s needs and students can chose what they would like in their lessons. The tutor will develop a program that uses the student’s choices. Listening, speaking, writing, grammar, conversation, business, or travel English can be combined or the student is free to choose whatever he or she feels is needed and important for himself or herself. We teach many students who want only individual, one-to-one, lessons with a tutor as well as small groups of students who share the same interests. Several students take online lessons with a group of their friends and we have many husbands and wives who are learning English online as well. For all of the students who study with us one of our tutors does a free online English chat once a week on Sundays with any of them who are interested in having some free additional practice. Some of our students attend language schools in their own countries and take lessons with us to supplement their courses. Others find that taking our online lessons is all that they need and they are happy with their progress.

We have instructors at the university level who have acquired their masters and/or doctorate degrees in their specialty areas and all of our non-university level instructors are fully certified teachers who have obtained bachelors degrees in Education and have experience in classroom teaching. Linda, one of our university instructors, obtained her bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of California at Irvine and her master’s degree in Business from the University of British Columbia at Vancouver, Canada. She has taught critical writing to ESL students at the University of British Columbia and business labs to first and second year students enrolled in that faculty at the university. Tara, another of our tutors, obtained her teaching degree in Education, with a specialty in ESL, from Simon Fraser University at Vancouver, Canada. Although only 27 years of age, she has gained classroom experience as well as overseas teaching experience in Japan. Agnes is a tutor with a master’s degree who is now studying for her Ph.D. Many ESL students like her because she fluently speaks five languages (Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and English) and, as the former Principal (Head Master) of a school in British Columbia she is an expert teacher and curriculum planner. John is our British tutor. He has earned his master’s degree in history from a university in England and has taught both Literature and History at the same university. In addition to this he has successfully designed and developed curriculum for a school system in the eastern United States of America. Frank is a Canadian tutor who earned his teaching degree from Simon Fraser University at Vancouver, Canada. He has considerable ESL classroom experience. Jonathan is a lawyer who tutors for us. He also has bachelors degrees in Arts and Education and is currently working part-time on obtaining his master’s degree in Business Administration and Commerce. These are just a few of our teachers.

English is the undisputed king of languages and it always will be because of its popularity and ever increase in demand over the years. Millions of people in china are taking up the English leaning courses because in their country they have always given importance to their language. However, they realized it’s time for a change and to compete with the world we have to master those things that are universally accepted and followed. English Language Laboratory is an initiative which has been started to follow the world’s need of learning English and improving communication skills.
