MSc following MBBS

Postby Leo101 » Thu, 13 Jun 2013 11:07:30 -0500

I have just completed my MBBS final exam with a Second Upper from a Sri Lankan University. Now I wish to pursue a non-clinical academic career starting with a MSc from a Canadian University.

My problem is, since I do not wish to do any clinical work, is it alright for me not to do an one year residency (House Officer work) and start my masters as soon as possible?
