cosigner for international student

I am a US citizen and cam here to study and now work in the corporate environment. I help one or 2 students every year in computer science MS studies.
I dont pay for them but cosign for them. Its also called paying forward.
If you have a good BS GPA, good GRE.. I want to make sure that after you graduate you will have a good chance to get a job and pay back your loan.
I know Indian universities, so will be biased toward those applicants.
