Month long Thames festival starts Thursday

We are delighted to remind you about the fantastic Totally Thames festival that starts this week, the truly spectacular annual month of events celebrating our beautiful river over its 42 London miles and the 17 boroughs it runs through. The festival really brings the river to life over the entire month of September with an endless array of extraordinary new art commissions; music, films and performances on the riverside; beachcombing and bonfires on the foreshore; walks, talks, and explorations; slow cruises; fast boats; copious amounts of food and drink events and dozens of incentives to get you enjoying London’s greatest natural asset!

We are certainly experiencing the weather at the moment to really enjoy every bit of our much loved waterway, and as a company we will definitely look to head along to some of the great fun events that are planned – come and join us!

Totally Thames is delivered by Thames Festival Trust, which since 1997 has organised 16 fun, free festivals along and on the river. What started as an event around the South Bank has stretched to embrace the length of the river from Westminster to Tower Bridges and St Katharine Docks. Thousands of events have been organised in that time from street carnivals to sand castles on the foreshore, from fireworks to bridge dining, and well over 10 million people have enjoyed the Thames Festival since 1997.
