Looking 4 cheap international & local calls in Chicago

Hi guys,
I am a medical student from delhi & i am travelling next week to Chicago for 15days only.
I am self sponsor for my trip. So, i am looking for help in searching cheap &v easy sim cards.
I would like to know: if some one can help me with buying cheap sim card after i get down the airport to make International & local calls in chicago?
or shall i buy a sim card from delhi before flying?

This is tough since you're not going to be in the states very long. As far as international calls go then if I were you I'd pick up a calling card. You can buy them at gas stations, department stores and I think the airport. You should be able to buy a really cheap phone for around $10, but you'll end up on a pay as you go plan so try not to use it a lot. The best thing you can do is try to refrain from using the phone as much as possible and enjoy your time abroad. Best of luck to you.

I really don't think you need to invest in a new phone if you are only going to be in Chicago for 15 days. It it was me, I'd scout out some Internet cafes. They usually have a skype calling capacity where you can communicate in relative privacy. Just top up your skype account and you should be good to go.

For me, I think you should have to buy that calling card. You can use it whenever you needed it. :wink:
